Delete your Clues by Sam account

Clues by Sam mobile app by Inowios

An account in Clues by Sam is optional. If you created one, you can delete it and all data linked to it in either of these ways.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open Clues by Sam and sign in.
2. Tap Settings under the board.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email (within 30 days)

Send an email to support@inowios.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We confirm by email once it is done, at the latest within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your email address and password hash.
• All puzzle results stored for your account (solve times, attempts, mistakes and hints).
• Your sign-in sessions.

What is kept

• Server request logs (IP address, time, endpoint) are kept for up to 30 days for security, then deleted automatically.
• Results you played without signing in are tied only to a random device identifier, not to you, and stay in anonymous statistics.
• Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
